MeRegio Mobil

 

Germany’s Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology and Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, and Nuclear Safety are supporting the MeRegioMobil project with the “ICT for Electromobility” program, which got underway in July 2009.

The objectives of the project are: 

  • to intelligently control the charging phases and energy recovery    
  • to make billing interoperable with cross-border roaming between various suppliers and network operators   
  • to prepare a concept for innovative location-sensitive telematics services.

The aim is to install and network 600 private, commercial and public battery-charging points in Baden-Württemberg.

Bosch Software Innovations is contributing its networked charge spots to the project. The plan for the final stage envisions 110 charge spots of this type.

 

Charge spot technical data:

  • 2 charging points each with 400 V three-phase 32 A and
    230 V single-phase 16 A
  • One energy meter for each charging point
  • Charging points protected by lockable flap
  • Integrated house service connection
  • Separate access for power supplier and distribution
    network operator
