Senior Professional Services Consultant - Technical (Principals only please)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct professional services engagements to assist our clients in understanding and using our flagship product, Visual Rules and our Financial Industry Solutions, such as our credit risk rating platform.  Our engagements include training with our best practices methodology for rule lifecycle management, technical integration, and complete lifecycle project implementation of our financial industry solutions.
  • Assist sales in conducting product demonstrations and delivering POC’s and POT’s
  • Work with our clients to understand their business requirements and to extract and formalize rules from existing systems and knowledge bases
  • Software development for Bosch Software Innovations products and client customizations
  • Work with our support departments in Germany and Singapore to support our customer base
  • Participate in marketing events and conferences (possible)
  • Extensive travel within the United States is required (Monday - Thursday at client, Friday at home - typical but not guaranteed.)  Opportunities for international travel are available, as well, but not required.

Your Profile:

  • B.S. or equivalent in Computer Science or have an extremely technical background
  • 5 years+ of experience as a professional services consultant
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.  Multi-lingual a plus (German fluency a strong plus).
  • Consummate professional, self-starter, strong team-oriented approach with enthusiasm and persistence
  • Proven ability to interact with SMEs, business users developing understanding of business processes with understanding of business process management (BPM) and business rules management systems (BRMS)
  • Professional experience working on enterprise development and application deployment / customization projects, integration (EAI) and project management
  • Experience in all aspects of a software project’s development lifecycle, including requirements discovery, business modeling, software design, development, testing, acceptance, deployment, change management, versioning etc.,
  • Excellent working knowledge of Java, J2EE, Eclipse IDE, XML, SOA / WebServices, BPM, BRMS
  • Experience in UML, ORM, SQL, JDBC, XML, EJB’s, Spring Framework, Spring-iBatis, BEA Weblogic, IBM Websphere and Apache Tomcat along with UI development frameworks like Wicket
  • Knowledge on usage of Maven, Ant and other build tools

You must be willing to travel to Germany for training and shadow our consultants in the field to learn our implementation processes, etc. Your main office will be in downtown Chicago, IL and must be local.
