Virtual Power Plant of the future

The virtual power plant of the future ‒ sustainable power supply and new business options can be secured only through the networking and intelligent management of multiple decentralized power generators and consumers.

    Telemedicine

Chronically ill patients can send their vital signs and information on their state of health to medical professionals from the comfort of their own home. This level of daily care increases patients' quality of life and their compliance with therapy.

If machines and systems communicate intelligently with one another, machine faults can be predicted in good time. This makes it possible to initiate the appropriate measures well before production comes to a standstill.

The Internet of Things is now!

Our M2M software is our “hyperlink” to the real world. Devices can be integrated simply into a network, structured to form virtual systems, and controlled and managed with flexibility, security, and transparency. The same even goes for devices that do not yet have their own web interface. All of this integrated into a process and rules environment that open up new business models in the Internet of Things and Services. We call this concept of end-to-end integration “device-to-process”. The products in our software suite turn this into reality.

Using Device Management

Using Device Management

Devices are connected either directly or with an edge controller, a mix of embedded PC and internet gateway. The approach depends on whether or not the device is capable of going online. Applications can be integrated via our Device Management, for instance Business Process Management (BPM), Business Rules Management (BRM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Manufacturing Equipment System (MES). This ensures a seamless connection between the various distributed devices and the user, who may for instance be using a cloud-based service.
