“Having completed my master thesis at Bosch Software Innovations, I was given the opportunity to start working in the Smart Home operating unit in Waiblingen. The most exciting thing is that here I was able to work on the software engineering from the very beginning. Thanks to our software solution, customers will be able to control and adjust their building installations technology remotely using an app. This will enable them to save money and conserve resources at the same time. The great thing is that we are creating something really new – which is great motivation for the team.

And since everybody does everything, be it algorithms or surfaces, work is full of variety. We use a scrum system for our engineering process and coordinate our weekly and daily jobs on a task board. This enables us to coordinate even small operations perfectly and react flexibly to changes. Throughout this process, our team is involved in a constant dialog with product management.

It is absolutely crucial to have a positive atmosphere when there is such close cooperation. We have pretty much achieved that in our team – just look at how often we meet together outside the office for barbecues and sport.”
