Bosch Software Innovations joins Cloud Foundry Foundation
Bosch Software Innovations has joined the Cloud Foundry Foundation, home of the industry-standard platform for cloud applications, as a silver member. Bosch Software Innovations joins GE Digital, IBM, Pivotal, SAP, VMware, and more than 60 other technology innovators as a Foundation member. Through its membership, Bosch Software Innovations will support other member companies to jointly improve the features and usage of Cloud Foundry’s cloud platform for Internet of Things (IoT) scenarios.
Eclipse Foundation announces Bosch as a strategic member
The Eclipse Foundation is pleased to announce that Bosch has become a strategic member of the Eclipse Foundation. Bosch has been a long-term solutions member of the Eclipse Foundation, and is actively participating in the Eclipse Automotive Working Group and the Eclipse Internet of Things (IoT) Working Group. As a new strategic member, Bosch will have a representative on the Eclipse Board of Directors and lead a number of open source projects at Eclipse. More than 10,000 Bosch engineers use the Eclipse Integrated Development Environment (IDE).
GE Digital and Bosch SI announce cooperation aimed at connecting the industrial world
GE and Bosch are working together to shape the connected world through a collaboration between the software divisions of both organizations, GE Digital and Bosch Software Innovations. The organizations have signed a memorandum of understanding where GE Digital and Bosch Software Innovations will further facilitate openness and growth of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). The agreement focuses on technology interoperability and platform integration through GE’s Predix operating system and the Bosch IoT Suite.
