The German subsidiary of Suzuki International Europe, part of the Suzuki Motor Corporation, has chosen Visual Rules for its Business Rules Management System (BRMS). One challenge facing the company's IT department has been to find the best means to consolidate efficiently their sensitive data from legacy systems (marketing, parts management, guarantees) while still ensuring quality as it is transferred to SAP. The solution was to introduce a Business Rules Management (BRM) system and involve the bookkeeping experts directly in the consolidation process.

"Visual Rules has been a strategic choice for the pension applications and will play a key role. Our business requires a user-friendly rules development platform and a fast rules execution engine. This is exactly what visual rules is good at. As runtime rules interpretation and rules inferencing are not required, we have definitely excluded this class of solutions. Having the technical solution, we also needed to make sure to have a reliable leading partner - at least for the next 10 years. Bosch Software Innovations fulfills these needs perfectly."
Philippe Schallon, architect for the pension administration project at SmalS-MvM

McDonald´s has nearly 1,480 restaurants in Germany, of which around 80 percent are operated by licensees. Until recently, whenever building issues arose, the company relied on a wide range of different communication channels to discuss them with its restaurant operators. Introducing the standardized ODST communication platform and a highly integrated service system based on inubit BPM has allowed the fast-food retailer to increase the transparency of the reporting process and make the ensuing clarification process much more effective.
