Merger of inubit and Bosch Software Innovations

  • Effective immediately
  • Better use of synergy effects and more efficient customer service
  • No changes in personnel

Immenstaad (Germany), 03/13/2013 -

Bosch Software Innovations and the Berlin-based company inubit have merged with immediate effect. With this merger, inubit becomes part of the Bosch Group’s software and systems unit Bosch Software Innovations. Bosch completed the acquisition back in October 2011.

“The merger was an extremely logical step for both sides,” says Heinz Derenbach, CEO of Bosch Software Innovations. “Over the last 16 months, our two companies have integrated very well, and generated a wealth of synergies. Customers benefit directly from these developments as they now receive our products from a single source.”

The company, which has a workforce of over 550 associates worldwide, retains its existing management structure. The five members of the executive board remain in charge of the Immenstaad, Berlin, and Waiblingen locations.

Bosch Software Innovations offers combined products for Business Process Management (BPM), Business Rules Management (BRM), and Device Management (machine-to-machine communication, M2M). These products provide the foundation for traditional business applications in the field of process optimization and automation, and also for applications in the Internet of Things and Services and the implementation of business models based on these IoTS applications. We also continue to remain focused on developing software and sector-specific solutions, and marketing these products worldwide for use in company and internet business models.
