New Visual Rules Version 3.2 and Launch of User Forum

11/24/2005 -

The German software vendor Innovations Softwaretechnologie today announces the new version 3.2 of its business rules system Visual Rules and the launch of the user-forum. The new version makes development of rule-based systems even more flexible. It is now available for downloading a free test license.

The forum aims at supporting communication among users as well as with the "visual rules" team. All users are invited to participate!

These are some of the new features of Visual Rules 3.2:

  • Visual Remote Debugging
Allows interactive monitoring of business rules and error searching within the target system, for example within an application server.
  • New Support Wizard
Requests can now be send directly to the Visual Rulesteam with the new built-in support wizard. This will shorten the support process and users will receive fast feedback.
  • Extended JavaBean Import
Now JavaBeans can be imported even more comfortable. This includes e.g. the support of generics with collections while importing.
  • New Functions for Collections
Work with collections will become even easier with the new functions to sort, search, filter and convert collections.

International Customers

Today Visual Rulesis used by many international customers. A selection of these is the U.S. company Wyndham offering luxury hotel & resort accomodations; the German HypoVereinsbank; the IT company of United Arabic Emirates Zafin Labs and the Australian software specialist MobileSelect. The range of applications includes an early warning system for trading of credit default swaps, the calculation of transaction billing and the individual selection of cell phone rates.
