Visual Rules for Linux

Release of Version 3.2.1 of the Business Rules System

02/01/2006 -

The German software vendor Innovations Softwaretechnologie today announces the new version 3.2.1 of its business rules system Visual Rules. The highlight is the support of Linux as platform for modelling business logic with Visual Rules.

Further new features extend the generation of test data. The new version is now available for downloading and a free test.

With version 3.3, Innovations announces a major release to be out in April:

  • Extended statistics: There will be easy backtracking of the executed business rules step-by-step within the graphical model.
  • A generator for Web Services will then enable to use business rules within SOA (Service-Oriented Architectures). Visual Rules will generate the Web Services including WSDL and the deployment descriptors.

International Customers

Today, Visual Rules is used by many customers worldwide. A selection of these is the U.S. company Wyndham offering luxury hotel & resort accomodations; the German HypoVereinsbank; the producer of agricultural machinery Claas; the IT company of the United Arabic Emirates Zafin Labs and the Australian software specialist MobileSelect. The range of applications includes an early warning system for trading of credit default swaps, the calculation of transaction billing and the individual selection of cell phone rates.
