Pallas Athena and Innovations Softwaretechnologie combine Decision Rules with Business Processes

An Advanced Collaboration of Business Rules and Business Process Management

06/21/2007 -

Innovations Softwaretechnologie, developer of "Visual Rules" Business Rules Management Software, and Pallas Athena, developer of "BPMSuite by Pallas Athena" Business Process Management Software, are integrating their products to create a joint solution. This will put the two companies in a position to offer their customers complete support in processing business rules, for instance, in the implementation of laws and regulations, compliance or governance directives, in each step of their business processes and to optimize their ability to control and direct workflow with their companies.

Thomas Cotic, CEO of Innovations, announced, "The benefit to our customers is clear: With this joint solution, they will increase the extent of their automation and thereby achieve maximum agility in their processes. The various business units responsible for flexible changes to individual process steps will be able to create, maintain and trace their decision rules themselves. In the end, this means increased productivity and process decisions with assured quality."

John Hoogland, founder and CEO of Pallas Athena, also emphasized the benefits to the customer: "For our customers, this cooperation represents a milestone in reducing their costs and improving their quality. The approach in our "BPMSuite by Pallas Athena" people-focused, concentrating on managing employee workflow is expanded ideally by the intuitive BRM approach of Innovations."
