Innovations Softwaretechnologie becomes a Member of the Bosch Group

The Bosch Group has chosen Innovations Softwaretechnologie GmbH as the core for a new software company.

Stuttgart, Immenstaad, 09/08/2008 -

The Bosch Group, a globally leading supplier of technology and services with 271,000 employees worldwide, has chosen Innovations Softwaretechnologie GmbH as the core for a new software company.

Bosch has selected Innovations primarily for its vast technical expertise and highly qualified and motivated team. In addition to continuing to expand its business to new customers around the world, Innovations will also be involved with various internal software projects within the Bosch Group business units.

Innovations welcomes the involvement of Bosch and the great potential of the combined business. As an international, innovative, and value-driven company, the Bosch Group is the ideal partner for Innovations. After eleven years of success as an independent software company, Innovations is now in the position to both strategically and internationally strengthen the company with a strong partner.

Founded in 1997, Innovations Softwaretechnologie GmbH is a leader in rule-based systems and developing complex software solutions for its international customer base. The software allows for the mapping of business-related and technical rules to be flexibly integrated into software systems. Based on this software, Innovations offers solutions for customer relationship management, compliance and credit risk rating for the financial services industry, and the design and implementation of complex, distributed software systems. Innovations has 120 employees in Immenstaad, Germany, a majority of whom are engineers and computer scientists. Innovations also has their North and Latin American headquarters in Chicago, IL.

The acquisition by Bosch will provide immediate additional growth to Innovations. In addition to its headquarters in Immenstaad and an office in Stuttgart, other locations in Asia (Singapore) and North America will be established.
