“Business Process Modeling 2010” Market Study compares Software Providers
Berlin, 10/28/2010 -
inubit AG, a leading software provider in the area of Business Process Management, successfully took part in the “Business Process Modeling 2010” study by the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering IAO. The study presented at the BPM forum at the IT & Business trade fair shows users the options they have for BPMN modeling and process execution using standard products. It confirmed the inubit BPM-Suite's conformity with the BPMN 2.0 standard as well as its ease-of-use for business and technical process modeling.
Thanks to its easy installation, intuitive usability and detailed process documentation including the inubit BPM-Suite's tutorial, the Fraunhofer IAO staff were able to completely implement the test scenario without any help from inubit consultants. Among other things, conformity with the BPMN standard, import and export options for process modeling as well as the technical process implementation with the integration of web services were checked. In addition, functions such as analysis and simulation also played an important role.
Dr. Frank Puhlmann, technical product manager at inubit, explains the value of such independent market research: “Users can benefit immensely if institutes like the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering regularly check products that are available on the market. Thanks to the hands-on analyses with a significant practical-use portion, interested parties get a good overview of the differences between the tools. Of course, we are very happy that the inubit BPM-Suite did so well. This also confirms our approach of continuing to focus on compliance with standards and ease-of use in the future.”
