Bosch Software Innovations GmbH’s Finance product group becomes an independent company

  • The new company will have its own market presence under the name Bosch Financial Software GmbH
  • Bosch Financial Software GmbH will focus on tapping growth opportunities in the financial and insurance market

10/01/2014 -

The Finance product group employs some 125 associates to market software solutions for banks, insurance companies, and financial service providers worldwide. Its focal areas are the fields of credit and risk management, compliance, client management, and process solutions for insurance companies.

‘‘The financial segment has very good prospects for growth and profitability. Our specialized software solutions and our associates’ many years of industry experience in Germany and elsewhere mean we will continue to be a reliable partner to our customers for years to come,’’ says Thomas Cotic, managing director of Bosch Financial Software GmbH.

‘‘There are few network effects between the Finance product group and other Bosch businesses. This is why reorganizing it into an independent entity is the right step, as it allows us to adapt even better to the needs of customers in this field,’’ explains Rainer Kallenbach, president of Bosch Financial Software GmbH and of Bosch Software Innovations GmbH. ‘‘At the same time, it allows Bosch Software Innovations to focus on the rapidly growing market for platform solutions and system projects in the Internet of Things.’’

Bosch Software Innovations is using this restructuring as an opportunity to gear its growth strategy specifically towards the Internet of Things. Its core competencies are in the areas of connected mobility, connected energy, the smart home, and Industry 4.0.
