Berlin, 10/23/2014 -
iDay, the customer and partner day for BPM and BRM, was held for the 15th time on October 14, 2014 in Berlin. Some 100 customers took part to learn about the Business Process Management (BPM) and Business Rules Management (BRM) solutions developed by Bosch Software Innovations. The customers took the opportunity to talk to other users and partners as well as the company’s experts.
After a keynote speech by Dr. Rainer Kallenbach, in which he underscored the importance of processes and rules as a strategic component of entering the Internet of Things, Dr. Stefan Ferber took the floor to speak about product strategy. The product managers Caroline Buck and Sebastian Zabre then presented the roadmaps and new features planned for BPM and BRM.
One key focus of the event was the presentations given by companies from various industries in which they reported how they use BPM and BRM. It quickly became clear just how versatile a BPM/BRM solution can be, with the speakers explaining how their companies employ the solutions to automate processes, improve operating efficiency, or reorganize business processes.
Another highlight of the event was the announcement of “Partner of the Year 2014.” This year the coveted title went to Optimatik AG. The Swiss company worked with inubit to set up state-of-the-art Load Management for an energy customer. Marco Meo, head of BPM at Optimatik, spoke on behalf of the company. “We are very pleased to win this year’s award and take it back with us to Switzerland,” he said. “It is an honor for us, and also shows our customers that we work with outstanding partners.”
By the end of the event customers, partners, and hosts were unanimous: see you at iDay 2015!
