Here you will find all the information on the Industry 4.0 software solutions that Bosch premiered in Hannover. You can also gain deeper insights into the world of the digital factory, for instance in our webinars.
Create transparency. Increase productivity. Reduce costs.
With our Manufacturing Analytics tools & services, we assist production experts in extracting valuable insights from existing production data. This contributes significantly to the resolution of prevailing problems, in addition to bolstering continuous improvement efforts, and thereby promoting sustainable competitive capability.
The Production Performance Manager provides a snapshot of the current status of individual machines, and of the production system as a whole. Response times are shortened, tasks are clearly allocated, and information is made permanently accessible. The continuous improvement process is optimally supported through the new availability of data and direct feedback.
There was plenty to see at the Bosch booth at Hannover Messe 2016.
A network of 14 live demos, organized to represent the flow along the value chain, transformed the Bosch booth in hall 7 into a digital factory. This “factory” continuously generated live data throughout the five days of the trade fair: e.g. process data from tightening operations performed, temperature and humidity measurements, and production process data both from sensors attached to a machine and from human-machine collaborations.

The ActiveAssist is an assembly assistance system featuring modular construction and flexible adaptability.
Visitors could see up close how the physical and virtual worlds of manufacturing interact through a combination of software and hardware in the areas of Development & Engineering, Procurement & Logistics, Manufacturing and After Sales.
Bosch presented three new Industry 4.0 solutions and services for the first time at this year’s Hannover Messe: the Production Performance Manager , Manufacturing Analytics and the Transport Data Logger .
The real highlights, and without a doubt the visitors’ favorites, were the APAS assistant, a production assistance robot as well as the ActiveAssist, a modular and flexibly adaptable assembly assistance system, that enabled visitors to manufacture (with guidance) a component made up of several parts.
We are looking forward to our next visit to Hannover in 2017.
