Hubject is a joint venture involving a variety of international companies. The BMW Group, Bosch, Daimler, EnBW, RWE and Siemens are all working together toward a common goal: to give drivers of electric vehicles convenient access to a charging infrastructure and thus make electromobility more user-friendly as an everyday alternative to conventional systems.
As the IoT systems partner and platform vendor, Bosch Software Innovations is providing the backend system for Hubject. The backend system provides the core technology required to connect electromobility service providers, charging station operators, energy suppliers, fleet managers, and manufacturers.
Drivers of electric vehicles: There is nothing more you need to do! You have access to convenient solutions all-round. You can use your electric vehicle in much the same way as a conventional vehicle. If your vehicle energy provider is working with Hubject, a single contract gives you access to all publically available charging stations connected to the Hubject platform. That means you can use the charging stations of a broad variety of providers instead of being limited to a select few.
Providers: Hubject runs a business and IT platform designed to network the various market players involved in electromobility. The platform provides a commercial and legal framework for provider-independent charging. It also adds value with services like static and dynamic POI data distribution. And the eRoaming functionality enables business partners to authenticate and transfer billing information.
Hubject provides specific solutions to meet the requirements of all service providers. Learn more about each individual module.
The hallmark of a networked charging infrastructure! This symbol on the charging stations lets users know right away that, as a customer of an intercharge supplier, they can charge their electric vehicle. Scanning the QR code starts the charging process – directly via the smartphone app!
